Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has raised a major controversy after no Pakistani official was present during the Champions Trophy 2025 closing ceremony in Dubai. Despite Pakistan hosting the tournament, PCB’s COO Sumair Ahmed, who was also the tournament director, was not invited on stage. Meanwhile, ICC Chairman Jay Shah, BCCI President Roger Binny, and other officials were part of the presentation. The PCB has filed a complaint, calling it "unacceptable" and demanding a formal clarification or apology. However, ICC sources claim it was due to protocol.
