Russia’s drone barrage stuns Europe, NATO activates emergency protocols to shield airspace | Putin

Poland and Romania have begun deploying a new U.S.-made defense system to counter Russian drone incursions, following a surge in airspace violations across NATO’s eastern flank. The compact Merops system, designed to fit on the back of a pickup truck, uses advanced artificial intelligence to detect and intercept drones, even when GPS and communications are jammed.
