Trump insults Putin on TV; US gets chilling threat from Russia minister amid Budapest meet confusion

Diplomatic confusion has emerged over the planned Trump-Putin summit in Budapest, with conflicting signals from Washington and Moscow. U.S. President Donald Trump stated he doesn't want to "waste time" with a meeting if no substantial deal on Ukraine is achievable, suggesting the summit may be postponed or cancelled. However, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov insisted that preparations for the meeting are continuing and that the summit "will happen," dismissing reports of cancellation as premature.
