U.S. bribery plot to capture Maduro fails; Kremlin backs Venezuela amid tension

The political storm between Washington, Moscow, and Caracas has deepened after reports surfaced alleging a failed U.S. plot to bribe Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro’s personal pilot in an attempt to capture him. The 16-month operation, reportedly conducted under the guise of intelligence outreach, collapsed in humiliation — triggering an outraged response from the Kremlin, which has now openly declared support for Maduro's government.
