Iranian plot to kill Israel's ambassador in Mexico foiled: Officials

Mexican authorities, aided by U.S. and Israeli intelligence, reportedly disrupted an Iranian plot to assassinate Israeli Ambassador Einat Kranz Neiger, although Mexico denies awareness of such a scheme. The plot, allegedly initiated by an Iranian Revolutionary Guard officer, was active until mid-2023. The U.S. and Israel emphasize ongoing cooperation against Iranian threats to their citizens and interests globally.
