President Trump announced that Israel and Hamas have agreed to the first phase of a peace plan, which includes the release of hostages and Israeli troop withdrawal. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu praised Trump for his leadership and reiterated his support for Trump's Nobel Peace Prize nomination. The ceasefire will take effect within 24 hours, followed by a 72-hour hostage release period.
