Mass shootings are rare in Australia. Here is a look at some previous attacks

At least 11 people were killed in a shooting attack during a Hanukkah celebration at Sydney's Bondi Beach, marking a significant act of violence in a country with strict gun laws. Mass shootings are infrequent in Australia, largely due to stringent regulations enacted after the 1996 Port Arthur massacre that claimed 35 lives.
