The United Arab Emirates has halted regular visa issuance for Pakistani nationals due to concerns over criminal activity, as confirmed by Interior Secretary Salman Chaudhry. Only blue and diplomatic passport holders are exempt. This follows months of complaints and widespread visa rejections, raising fears of a complete ban, which would be challenging to reverse.
