Amazon $2.5B FTC Prime settlement: How to check eligibility and claim your refund

Amazon will pay $2.5 billion to settle an FTC lawsuit alleging it misled customers into enrolling in Prime memberships. The settlement includes $1 billion in penalties and $1.5 billion in customer refunds. Affected users, who signed up between June 2019 and June 2025, may receive up to $51, with automatic payments starting by December 2025.
