Christopher Scholtes death: Arizona dad who left his toddler to die in hot car dies by suicide

Christopher Scholtes, an Arizona father who left his two-year-old daughter to die in a hot car, died by suicide on November 5, the day he was to report to prison for sentencing. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder after admitting to leaving his daughter alone for over three hours while he watched porn. Scholtes faced up to 30 years in prison.
