Sarah Beckstrom ‘mortal wound’: Dad of National Guardsman shot in DC gives tragic update; ‘Not going to be a recovery’

Sarah Beckstrom, a National Guard member shot near the White House, is not expected to survive her injuries, according to her father. She was critically injured alongside Andrew Wolfe by Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who faces multiple assault charges. Beckstrom, from West Virginia, has been on duty since August 2023. The nation prays for her recovery.
