Seattle power outage: Thousands left in dark as strong Pacific winds sweep through Washington coastline

The storm also caused a fatal incident near Roy, killing a 31-year-old man. Wind gusts reached up to 77 mph, with ongoing rain and a wind advisory in effect. Power restoration efforts are underway.
