One wrote, "I am currently outside the stadium offering my own hamstrings to the 49ers medical staff. Take whatever you need to get him back on that line."

A third person expressed, "Losing Trent Williams is devastating. Hopefully he’s not going to be out for longer than a week."

George Kittle injury update

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is dealing with an ankle injury after suffering a low-to-mid ankle sprain during the team’s Week 16 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football.

Kittle had a strong outing before the injury, finishing with seven receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown, but he exited early in the fourth quarter and did not return.

Ahead of the 49ers’ Week 17 matchup against the Chicago Bears, Kittle did not practice all week and was listed as questionable on the injury report. He was ultimately ruled inactive for the game.
