Daya's new SUV is as tough as him; brings home a Land Rover Defender
Several Bollywood stars have opted for the Land Rover Defender; Daya from the TV show, CID, is the latest one to do so.
Dayanand Chandrashekhar Shetty, better known as ‘Daya’ in the famous Indian crime series CID, has just taken delivery of a new Land Rover Defender. The actor opted for the 110 version, and it seems like the colour is Borasco Grey. Daya also decided to upgrade the alloy wheels to 20 inches, which come in diamond-cut along with Gloss Dark Grey contrast. As of now, we do not know what other customisation options Daya chose.

What powers the Land Rover Defender?
The Defender in India offers a variety of powertrain options. Defender Octa launched in India
Earlier this year, Land Rover launched the Defender Octa in the Indian market. It is a iteration of the SUV. The Octa starts at ₹2.42 crore ex-showroom. Although it is derived from the Defender 110, this high-performance variant showcases distinctive design features. It offers an elevated ride height for enhanced clearance and a broader stance with extended wheel arches that amplify its formidable road presence. The SUV is fitted with newly crafted bumpers at both the front and rear, which enhance the approach and departure angles.
