T20 World Cup Schedule 2024: The 2024 T20 World Cup schedule is halfway through with the Super 8 stage set to begin from June 19, followed by the semifinals on June 27 and the final on June 29.

India, USA, Australia, England, Afghanistan, West Indies, South Africa and Bangladesh from their respective groups have already made it to the Super 8s of the T20 World Cup 2024. The tournament from the Super 8 stage until the final on June 29, will be played at six venues in the West Indies.

In the Super 8s, the qualifying teams will be split into two groups of four; the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals and a final. India are placed in Group 1 along with Afghanistan, Australia and Bangladesh.

Groups in Super 8s:

• Group 1: India, Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh
• Group 2: South Africa, USA, West Indies, England

The Super 8 stage would have 12 matches to be played over seven days across four venues in the West Indies.

• June 19: South Africa vs USA (Group 2) in Antigua at 8pm
• June 20: West Indies vs England (Group 2) in St Lucia at 6am
• June 20: Afghanistan vs India (Group 1) in Barbados at 8pm
• June 21: Australia vs Bangladesh (Group 1) in Antigua at 6am
• June 21: England vs South Africa (Group 2) in St Lucia at 8pm
• June 22: West Indies vs USA (Group 2) in Barbados at 6am
• June 22: Bangladesh vs India (Group 1) in Antigua at 8pm
• June 23: Afghanistan vs Australia (Group 1) in St Vincent at 6am
• June 23: England vs USA (Group 2) in Barbados at 8pm
• June 24: West Indies vs South Africa (Group 2) in Antigua at 6am
• June 24: Australia vs India (Group 1) in St Lucia at 8pm
• June 25: Afghanistan vs Bangladesh (Group 1) in St Vincent at 6am

The T20 World Cup schedule was announced in January, with the group stage of the tournament being held at three venues in the US and six in the West Indies. For the group stage, the 20 teams were divided into four groups, and the top two teams from each group advanced to the Super 8s. Below were the four groups for the group phase of the T20 world Cup 2024.

Group B - England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, Oman
Group C - New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea
Group D - South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal

Host Nations and Event Ambassadors:
The International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed in November 2021 that the 2024 Men's T20 World Cup would take place in the United States and the West Indies. Cricket West Indies and USA Cricket joined forces in a joint bid after two years of groundwork, reflecting a strategic alliance between the two cricket boards. Meanwhile, former T20 world champions Yuvraj Singh, Chris Gayle and Olympic Champion Usain Bolt are the event ambassadors for the T20 World Cup 2024.
