Highest Score World Cup 2024: Brendon McCullum holds the record for the highest individual score in T20 World Cup history. The former New Zealand batsman achieved this feat during a 2012 T20 World Cup match against Bangladesh in Pallekele. McCullum scored a blistering 123 runs off just 58 balls, maintaining an impressive strike-rate of 212.06.

Following McCullum in the list of highest individual scores is the big-hitting West Indian, Chris Gayle. Gayle, known for his aggressive batting style, scored 117 runs off 57 balls against South Africa in the 2007 T20 World Cup. Third on the list is England's Alex Hales, who scored an unbeaten 116 off 64 balls against Sri Lanka in the 2014 T20 World Cup in Chattogram.

Pakistan's Ahmed Shehzad holds the fourth highest individual score in T20 World Cup history, with an unbeaten 111 off 62 balls. Rounding out the top five is South Africa's Rilee Rossouw, who scored 109 off 56 balls.
