Chandigarh: Days warm but nights get colder

While cloudy conditions will continue in the coming days, the maximum temperature will remain around 33°C and the minimum will hover around 18°C.

While the days remain warm, residents have started feeling the chill at night due to a slide in the minimum temperatures.

As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature dropped from 19.7°C on Wednesday to 17.5°C on Thursday, but still remained 2.8°C above normal. The lowest that the minimum temperature has gone this season was on October 8 when it slipped to 16.3°C. The maximum temperature rose slightly from 32.5°C on Wednesday to 32.6°C on Thursday, 2.7°C above normal.
