8-year-old girl crushed under dumper at Dahisar

An eight-year-old girl was fatally hit by a dumper on Rawalpada Road in Dahisar, following which the driver, Mukesh Dhale, was arrested. Vidya Santosh Bansode was walking with her mother when the dumper, MH 47 AS 9413, hit her from behind. As she fell, she came under the tyres of the vehicle, causing her death. Dhale claimed he lost balance and ended up hitting the girl. The police arrested him under section 304A of the Indian Penal Code for causing death due to negligence.
