The Assam Government has introduced the ‘Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Babu Aasoni’ scheme, offering financial support to male undergraduate and postgraduate students from economically weaker families, with incentives of up to Rs 20,000 annually. Eligibility requires students to be first-year, enrolled in state institutions, and meet income criteria. Violations of conduct may lead to benefit withdrawal.
