His family confirmed in a statement released on his social media handles that Osbourne passed away in the morning of July 22, Wednesday, surrounded by his loved ones. Among the ones who signed the statement was his wife, Sharon Osbourne.

Ozzy Osbourne was married twice - his first wife was Thelma Riley, while his second and current wife was Sharon Osbourne. He had six children - two from his first marriage, three from his second marriage, and one adopted son from his first wife's previous relationship.

Thelma Riley (1971)

Osbourne was married to his first wife, Thelma Riley, from 1971 to roughly 1982, for approximately 11 years. Also a Birmingham native, Thelma Riley worked as a waitress at the Rum Runner nightclub in Birmingham, where the duo met for the first time. They have two children: daughter Jessica Starshine Osbourne, born in 1972, and son Louis John Osbourne (born 1975). They also adopted Thelma’s elder son, Elliot Kingsley, from a previous relationship.

Sharon Osbourne (1982)

Sharon Osbourne was the daughter of a former Black Sabbath manager and that's how she and Ozzy met in the late 1970s. In 1979, Sharon became Ozzy Osbourne's manager and helped orchestrate his hugely successful solo career. They have three children: daughters Aimee (born 1983) and Kelly (born 1984), and son Jack (born 1985).

Their marriage has lasted through thick and thin, which included Ozzy Osbourne's 1989 arrest for attempting to strangle Sharon. After 33 years of marriage, they briefly separated in 2016 due to revelations about Ozzy’s affairs, particularly with hairstylist Michelle Pugh. They celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2023-24.
