Balwant Singh, 33, son of BJP legislator Renuka Singh, was arrested and released on bail for a hit-and-run incident that left a motorcyclist seriously injured in Chhattisgarh. Singh faces charges of endangering safety and negligent driving. The accident occurred early Monday, with the victim hospitalized in serious condition. A nearby CCTV camera was non-functional prior to the incident.
