‘Makarajyothi’ ritual draws pilgrims to Sabarimala shrine

Pilgrims witnessed the 'makarajyothi' star and the 'makaravilakku' light after the Deeparadhana pooja. This year's pilgrimage saw 5.1 million visitors, generating ₹429 crore in revenue, surpassing last year's figures.
