Organ transported on commercial flight for first time in Kerala

In a historic first for Kerala, a kidney was successfully transported on a commercial airline from Kannur to Thiruvananthapuram for transplantation, coordinated by K-SOTTO. The kidney, retrieved from Ayona Monson after her tragic fall, was flown on IndiGo Airlines to a 27-year-old patient. Typically, organs are transported via military or government means.
