Skateboarding in India has been confined to a very close-knit community. States like Bangalore and Goa have more than one skateparks while other parts of India are now starting to catch up.
Recently, a film was also released on the OTT platform Netflix titled 'Skater Girl' which is about a teen girl from rural India discovering a life-changing passion for skateboarding. Places like Hampi, Ranchi and Kovalam have also opened up their skateparks. Here are a five skateparks in India you probably didn't know about.(Unsplash)

Play Arena, Bengaluru: They offer a wide range of sports for everyone coming in to join their community. Their skate park is one of the many activities they offer. It is loaded with a 10 ft bowl, a 30 ft run, spines, ramps and funboxes.(Instagram/@playarenablr)
