Despite the ban on firecrackers in Delhi, people in a huge number came out to burst crackers on the occasion of Diwali and the very next day, the pollution level plunged from 'poor' to 'very poor' category.
Delhi's air quality remained in the "very poor" category days after Diwali. The overall air quality index (AQI) stood at 323 and people were forced to once again use face masks.(ANI)
