The city's international airport reported flight delays due to the storm in the southwestern state of Arizona. The dust could potentially affect more than two million people, according to a warning issued by the Phoenix chapter of the National Weather Service.(Melissa Levick via REUTERS)

As the system moved into Maricopa County Monday night, the Phoenix National Weather Service issued advisories for both dust storms and severe thunderstorms.
