Erika Kirk’s ‘thank you for being my love story’ video haunts fans after Charlie Kirk’s death
Conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed at an event at Utah Valley University. He was 31.
Charlie Kirk, an influential conservative commentator, was shot dead while giving a speech at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. The 31-year-old was married to former Miss Arizona USA and real estate agent Erika Kirk. After the death of the founder of the youth activist group Turning Point USA, a video shared by his wife months ago has resurfaced, sparking tears on social media.

“Sobbing watching this video from Charlie Kirk’s wife,” an X user wrote. Originally shared by Erika on Instagram, the video was captioned, “…thank you for being my love story.” At that point, Kirk had also reacted to his wife’s video, commenting, “My favorite,” along with a red heart emoticon.

Social media is heartbroken:
An individual shared, “A family man who, while not all agreeing with him, was always respectful and allowed others to speak. He did not deserve to die, nor did his family deserve this. Heartbreaking.” Another posted, “I just can’t stop crying. Still hoping it’s just a bad dream.”

Another moment between Charlie Kirk and his daughter has surfaced on social media. The video shows the little girl happily squealing while running into her dad’s arms. It was captured weeks ago on the set of a television show.
Tributes have been pouring in on social media for Charlie Kirk, whose death was announced by Donald Trump in a social media post.
