On Friday, Taylor Swift was spotted shielding herself with umbrellas as she arrived for her best friend Selena Gomez's wedding.

Selena Gomez married her boyfriend Benny Blanco in a private California ceremony on Saturday. Gomez shared wedding photos on social media, while images of her Only Murders in the Building co-stars from the rehearsal dinner also emerged.

The day before the wedding, Taylor Swift was spotted shielding herself with umbrellas as she arrived for her best friend's nuptials. On Saturday, a viral photo of Swift in a maroon gown led some to speculate she was the flower girl. However, the image was later identified as an AI-generated fake. It first circulated in December 2024 when Gomez and Blanco announced their engagement.

Selena Gomez marries Benny Blanco

Selena Gomez and music producer Benny Blanco tied the knot on Saturday in an intimate ceremony. The 33-year-old singer and actress shared glimpses of the big day on Instagram, captioning her post simply: “9.27.25.”

Gomez wore a white, sleeveless turtleneck gown, while Blanco, 37, chose a classic suit with a shirt that complemented her outfit.

The couple, who got engaged in December 2024, had been romantically linked since June 2023, though Gomez publicly confirmed their relationship that December.

Blanco is a Grammy-nominated producer known for crafting chart-topping hits for artists such as Justin Bieber, Halsey, Katy Perry, and Ed Sheeran. He and Gomez first collaborated on her 2015 single “Same Old Love”, followed by “I Can’t Get Enough” in 2019, and most recently, her 2023 single “Single Soon.”

Gomez's recent work

In addition to her music career, Gomez recently starred in the fifth season of the hit series Only Murders in the Building, alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short. The show, created by John Hoffman and Steve Martin, premiered on Hulu and Disney+ on September 9.
