In a strong signal, 160KG Hash (potent Cannabis) worth ₹16 Crore destroyed by Himachal Police. Himachal Top Cop emphasised on 3-pronged strategy of seizing drugs, nabbing dealers & destroying contraband. Apart from 160KG Hash, the Himachal Police also destroyed 120 Cannabis plants & 80 Opium plants. The drugs were burnt in high-temperature boilers; Himachal continues to clampdown on the illicit drug trade.
