Kangana vs Ryan Reynolds over 'Hollywood mimicking Bollywood' remark

• Actor Kangana Ranaut took a potshot at Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds after his remark in a promotional video for his new movie 'Free Guy'. In the video, Reynolds describes the film as consisting of a 'Romeo', a girl who is 'out of his league', with lots of action and dance. He followed up by saying that basically Hollywood is now copying the Bollywood mantra. Subsequently, Kangana posted a story on Instagram with Reynolds' statement and added that Hollywood is also 'trying to steal our screens'. She had recently said that Indians must prioritise watching and supporting domestic movies over foreign ones. Her latest movie Thalaivii was overshadowed by Marvel's Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on opening day, as per reports.
