India's Test Of First Long-Range Hypersonic Missile; Joins US, Russia, China Club; LRLACM Explained

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) conducted a successful flight test of long-range hypersonic missile on November 16. The test was conducted from the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh lauded the test as a "historic moment which put India in the group of select nations having capabilities of such critical and advanced military technologies."
