Meet the Mavs, who turned their tiffin business into a food delivery mission

- When the first lockdown was announced, Harsh Mav and his mother Taruna Mav turned their tiffin delivery service into a mission to deliver free food in slums near their Navi Mumbai home, to people who were now out of work and stranded. The Mavs began with their own savings, and then invited and received donations. Their free food programme continued for months, feeding over 100 people a day. By the second lockdown, they were delivering weekly rations; by the third, they were delivering cooked meals to Covid patients. Now, Harsh says this element of providing free food will be part of any hospitality venture he launches in the future. At the cloud kitchen he plans to launch in Mumbai, he will allow customers to donate meals to those in need. What drives him and his family? Take a look
