CRPF Gets Made-In-India WhAP To Fight Terror In Kashmir | Armoured Vehicles Boost For Forces

The Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) received a shot in the arm to fight terrorism in the Kashmir valley. The CRPF has inducted new sophisticated Wheeled Armoured Amphibious Platform (WhAP) vehicles, capable of operating on land and also in marsh areas and streams using their water jets. The 8X8 vehicles have been jointly built by TATA and DRDO and can carry 12 equipped soldiers, including the driver.
