Prime Minister Narendra Modi witnessed the initiation of the core loading of India’s indigenous 500 Mwe Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) in the nuclear complex at Kalpakkam. Days later, India successfully conducted the first flight test of domestically developed Agni-V missile with Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicle technology. PM Modi also witnessed the Bharat Shakti exercise, which displayed the prowess of India’s armed forces. So why are these three events significant?
