Protests broke out in Jammu and Kashmir's Topa Peer village after the death of 3 civilians who had been taken for questioning following the terrorist attack on security forces in Rajouri on December 21. After the families alleged torture in custody as the cause of death, the Indian Army said that it is committed to a probe.
