The Indian Army has foiled another infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri sector, an operation that tragically claimed the life of a soldier. According to Indian Army officials, the bid—reportedly backed by Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT)—occurred on the night of August 12–13, with search operations still underway in Baramulla district.
