QUAD member Japan battles Russia & China: 446 fighter scrambles in 6 months

Japanese fighters scrambled 446 times to tackle Russian & Chinese aircraft (April-Sept). Chinese aircraft activities accounted for 340 scrambles or 76% of the overall total. Russia accounted for 95 scrambles (MoD data), no details given for 11 remaining ones.
