Moscow has hit back at the European Union after Brussels branded pro-peace leaders “Kremlin agents.” Russian official Konstantin Kosachev mocked the claim, calling it “a compliment to reason.” He defended Hungary’s Viktor Orban and Slovakia’s Robert Fico as “true patriots,” not Moscow’s puppets. Both leaders have opposed arming Ukraine and criticized EU sanctions on Russia.
