No one killed Sushant Singh Rajput? An apology and a prayer

• June 14, 2021 marks the first death anniversary of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. He was found dead at his Mumbai residence last year. Initially suspected to be a suicide, the case was later alleged to be one of foul play. The investigation was taken from the Mumbai police and assigned to the Central Bureau of Investigation. The central agency is yet to publish any concrete findings about the case, although reports suggest that a medical panel at AIIMS concluded that the actor died of asphyxia due to hanging. Following the tragedy, Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was demonised by many. She continues to face a drug case being investigated by the Narcotics Control Bureau. Meanwhile, a year later, Sushant's fans continue to await closure.
