UK sabotages Trump's plan? US denies Tomahawk, but Starmer arms Kyiv to burn Moscow?

As Ukraine continues its campaign to hit targets deep inside Russian territory, the UK has supplied Kyiv with additional Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles, according to a Bloomberg report on November 3. The delivery comes as U.S. President Trump delays approval for sending Tomahawk missiles, leaving Ukraine to depend on British support as a stop-gap measure. The new batch aims to replenish depleted stockpiles after Kyiv’s strikes on Bryansk, Kursk, and Crimea earlier this year. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s move underscores London’s ongoing role as a key defense partner since it became the first to supply long-range missiles in 2023. However, the Storm Shadow’s 250–560 km range still falls short of the 1,600–2,500 km capability of Tomahawks, something President Zelensky continues to press for. Meanwhile, Washington is focusing on “peace talks” and sanctions pressure against Moscow.
