The US military has grounded its entire fleet of V-22 Osprey tilt-rotor helicopters following a fatal crash last week off the coast of Japan. The Air Force Special Operations Command said in a statement that the move was to "mitigate risk while the investigation continues." The Osprey aircraft can take off and land vertically like a helicopter and rotate its propellers forward to fly like an airplane.
