Hours after Lavrov warns US on cancelling Putin-Trump meet, Zelensky adds Tomahawk fuel to fire

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky suggested that U.S. President Trump's refusal to supply long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine has emboldened Russia and reduced Moscow's willingness to engage in serious peace negotiations. Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reiterated that Moscow's conditions for peace remain unchanged since the August summit, including demands for full control of Donetsk and territorial recognition of Russian-held areas.
