Putin To Make European Nation Region Part of Russia; Georgia's South Ossetia In Talks For Accession

Georgia's breakaway region, South Ossetia, is seeking to become a part of the Russian Federation. Russian news agency RIA cited the head of South Ossetia's parliament as saying on Sunday that he has discussed becoming part of Russia with Moscow officials.
