Bondi Beach shooting: Donald Trump says mass shooting in Australia a 'terrible, antisemitic attack'
At least 12 people were killed, while 29 others, including two cops, were injured in the mass shooting incident at Bondi Beach in Sydney.
US President Donald Trump has condemned the mass shooting at Australia's Bondi Beach, which killed at least 12 people on Sunday. Speaking to reporters at the White House, the Republican leader stated that the incident was a ‘terrible attack’
At least 12 people were killed, while 29 others, including two cops, were injured in the mass shooting incident at Bondi Beach in Sydney. As per officials, the incident took place as people gathered for the Jewish festival of Hanukkah on Sunday.

Reacting to the incident, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called the attack an act of "antisemitic terrorism.'
Police have stated that there were at least two gunmen, of which one has been identified as Naveed Akram. Officials are also investigating the possibility of a third shooter in the attack.
What did Donald Trump say?
Condemning the attack which killed at least 12 people, the US president also referred to the shooting as a ‘purely antisemitic attack’.
"That was a terrible attack, 11 dead, 29 badly wounded. And that was an antisemitic attack, obviously," Trump said during a Christmas celebration at the White House.
The US President also praised the man in Australia who charged at the gunmen to disarm them.

"Very, very brave person, who went and frontally attacked one of the shooters and saved a lot of lives. Very brave person, right now in the hospital, wounded. Great respect to the man that did that," said Trump.
A viral video shows 43-year-old fruit shop owner Ahmed al Ahmed tackling the gunmen, armed with a rifle firing on civilians, from behind.
The video shows the Ahmed overpowering the attacker, snatching the gun from the attacker's hand and pointing the weapon at the attacker. Then, the man in a dark shirt is seen backing away towards a bridge where another shooter is positioned, while the bystander places the gun down.
