An apparel company has been facing online backlash over insensitive tee-shirts promoted in the wake of Charlie Kirk's fatal shooting.

An apparel company is facing massive backlash online after they unveiled two tee-shirts in the wake of Charlie Kirk's fatal shooting. The 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA was shot in the neck during an event at the Utah Valley University on September 10, and later succumbed to his injuries.

Kirk, a Trump ally, has been remembered for his openness to debate. However, the apparel company twists this with an image of a cartoon Kirk, being hit in the neck by the bullet. The tee is captioned ‘Debate this’.

Most people have not taken kindly to the designs, which were promoted immediately the day after Kirk's shooting. One person on X called them ‘disgusting’ and asked how ‘dare’ they ‘rejoice in assassination’.

Meanwhile, several flocked to the posts to say they've reported it. Another person slammed the company as ‘filthy degenerates.’

Notably, the company also has tees which glorify Kirk as a ‘patriot’ and one which says ‘rest in peace’. They also put out a post showing a white tee with ‘freedom’ emblazoned across the chest, like the one Kirk was wearing when he was shot.
