Tej Pratap Yadav, who was recently expelled from the RJD by his father and founding president Lalu Prasad, has announced that he would contest the upcoming Bihar assembly election from Mahua seat in Vaishali district as an Independent candidate.
The CBI and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) are investigating former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad, his family, and several others in connection with the land-for-jobs case. (PTI)
