Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) says it has foiled a planned terrorist attack on a key railway bridge in the Perm region, allegedly linked to Ukrainian intelligence. Authorities detained a local resident accused of being manipulated through a phone scam into assembling an improvised explosive device. Investigators seized 10 kilograms of explosives, bomb components, and surveillance equipment, calling the plot a serious threat to transport infrastructure as Moscow warns of escalating sabotage attempts amid the Ukraine war.
