Putin top aide blasts US for ‘gross violation’ of international law over Venezuela & Iran

In a blistering statement on the U.S. operation to seize Venezuela’s former leader, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called Washington’s actions a “gross violation of international law” and claimed most of the Global South and “Global East” agree. He accused the U.S. of tearing down the very globalisation system it once sold with slogans like “free markets” and “fair competition,” and vowed Moscow will keep backing Caracas as a sovereign, equal partner.
