Fractured bones can take some time to heal. Post the fracture, it is recommended to take in a large amount of nutrients in order to provide nourishment to the body, to heal faster. Addressing this, Nutritionist Anjali Mukerjee added, " The healing process during fractures can be sped up with the intake of a well-balanced, nutrient-dense diet, especially rich in calcium, zinc, vitamin D, Vitamin k and vitamin C (helps in collagen formation)."

Things that are harmful for your bones: Nutritionist suggests

“Calcium is quite a fickle mineral and doesn’t get absorbed easily. With only 20-30% being absorbed of the total ingested calcium, there are certain foods that actually prevent absorption and eventually promote bone loss,” wrote Nutritionist Anjali Mukerjee as she noted down seven things that are harmful for bone strength and bone growth.
