Lukashenko’s Doomsday Alert: Belarus President Confesses Military Danger Before Putin | CSTO meeting
Published on Nov 27, 2025 07:50 PM IST
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko warned that “military risks and threats” are sharply rising along CSTO borders, describing Belarus as living in a “besieged fortress,” during the narrow-format CSTO meeting in Bishkek. He criticised the collapse of global arms-control mechanisms and accused Western nations of preparing for war by boosting military capabilities and enforcing isolation through sanctions, border restrictions, and closed airspace. Lukashenko also condemned continued Western weapon supplies to Ukraine, claiming they are spreading uncontrollably worldwide. These remarks come ahead of the November 27 CSTO summit, where leaders will focus on security cooperation, anti-drug measures, and tackling illegal migration.
